Lauren Hazel is a West Coast Canadian painter whose work celebrates the beauty and strength of women. Initially, Lauren completed her Make-Up Artistry program at the New Image College of Fine Arts. As a Make-up Artist she skilled at delivering looks that deeply connected to each client, making them feel like their best selves. Since completing the Mastery Program through the Milan Art Institute, Hazel is working mainly in acrylic and oil she blends realism with abstraction to explore transformation, empowerment, and presence.

“I believe each woman is a Goddess” Hazel says. To match that sentiment her compositions hold a quiet strength—where power meets vulnerability, and the visible meets the unseen—reflecting both the physical and spiritual dimensions of human experience. Bold, intuitive brushwork carries a sense of force and movement through her paintings, while moments of delicate romantic details invite stillness and reflection. “My art guides the viewer into curiosity, wonder, joy, and appreciation.”

Currently Hazel works in her garage-converted studio, supervised by her black cat. Upcoming projects include gallery shows and a residency in Europe.
